Community Updates for 10/30/26

Dear Luma Residents,

Friendly Reminders:

Window Cleaning Schedule: November 2- November 9 | Stacks 16, 15 and 03/05

This is a reminder that Chamberlin Building Services will continue washing the building’s exterior windows during the week of November 2 to November 9. The anticipated schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, November 2: Stack 16
  • Tuesday, November 3: Stack 16
  • Wednesday, November 4: Stack 16
  • Thursday, November 5: Stack 03/05
  • Friday, November 6 and finishes Monday, November 9: Stack 03/05

This round of window cleaning includes patio and balcony windows only. Please refer to the attached notice and schedule to find the estimated cleaning date for your stack, identified by the last two digits of your unit number.

The schedule may change due to wind, rain, or equipment issues. Daily updates will be posted on the mailroom bulletin board and sent by email.

Important Reminders:

Clear your patio or balcony at least one day before your scheduled cleaning date. The crew cannot move personal belongings, and items blocking the glass or walls may prevent the windows from being cleaned.

Keep all doors and windows closed while work is underway.

Crews will work between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Please inspect your windows on the day your stack is cleaned and report any issues to the HOA office.

If you have any questions, please contact the HOA office at 213-742-0387.

Building Safety Tip:

Parking Space Reminder for All Residents

We’d like to remind all residents of the importance of maintaining a safe, secure, and clean parking environment.

On October 30, 2026, the Association successfully addressed a security concern by having three suspicious individuals escorted out of the building. Unfortunately, theft and other security concerns remain ongoing issues in Downtown Los Angeles. Please take a moment to review and follow the guidelines below to help keep our garage areas safe and ensure compliance with community standards.

Keep Your Parking Space Clear

Storing personal items—such as boxes, furniture, gas cans, old paint, car parts, household goods, basically anything—in your parking space is not permitted under Luma’s governing documents. These items not only present a safety and fire hazard but also obstruct cleaning and routine maintenance, and they are unsightly. Please remove any stored items to avoid violation notices and help us maintain a tidy, hazard-free garage.

Lock Your Vehicle

Always ensure your vehicle is locked, even if you are stepping away for just a few minutes. Crimes of opportunity can happen quickly, and an unlocked car is an easy target. Taking a moment to double-check your locks significantly reduces the risk of theft or tampering.

Remove Valuables

Do not leave valuables—such as electronics, bags, loose change, or even clothing—inside your vehicle. Even seemingly minor items can attract unwanted attention and increase the risk of break-ins. This applies whether you are parked in the garage or on the street; a clean, empty interior is one of the best deterrents.

Report Suspicious Activity

If you observe any suspicious behavior in the garage or near any of the garage gates, please report it immediately to the front desk or building staff. Your vigilance helps keep the community secure and supports the safety of all residents.

Guest Vehicle Protocol

If you have a guest or family member visiting the building who requires parking, please contact the Front Desk to determine whether a space is available and to obtain a parking pass and garage access instructions.

Please do not manually press the override button at the gate, as this may allow unauthorized individuals or trespassers access to the garage.

Residents and guests may only park in LUMA-designated parking areas. Parking on the Elleven side of the garage is prohibited unless specifically authorized by Elleven Management.

Please do not park in Elleven accessibility spaces, EV charging spaces, or any spaces assigned to Elleven residents or operations.

Unauthorized vehicles may be cited, towed, or subject to other enforcement actions without notice.

Your cooperation makes a big difference in preserving the quality of life at Luma. Thank you for doing your part!
