Dear Luma Residents,
Proper Drain and Garbage Disposal Usage
To keep our plumbing systems functioning properly, please review the attached garbage disposal / drain guidelines. Only water, soap, and human waste should go down the drains—never food, grease, or items like “flushable” wipes and/or paper towels. Food waste should be scraped into the compost or trash, leaving only small particles for the garbage disposal.
Additionally, please never use Draino or similar products, as they can cause clogs and corrode pipes. Your cooperation is vital to maintaining our community’s plumbing system.
11/18 Window Washing Updates
On Monday, November 18th, the window washers will do the balconies of units 1705, PH 103, and PH 203. They will also do the Stack 03 Windows.
Attached is the estimated schedule for window cleaning by stack. Please note that cleaning dates may change due to unforeseen factors (e.g., weather, mechanical issues). A current schedule is posted in the mailroom, and email updates will be provided.
12/3 Johnathan Town Club Open House Invitation
The Jonathan Town Club is hosting an Open House on December 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and invites Luma residents to explore membership opportunities, including access to events, dining, and athletic facilities at their downtown Los Angeles location. 12/5 Luma 2025 Holiday Party- Save the date!
Save the date for the Luma Holiday Party on December 5, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Keep an eye out for more details as the event approaches!
Holiday Fund for Staff 2024
The Luma Board of Directors is providing an opportunity for residents to participate in a voluntary Holiday Fund to show collective appreciation to staff members, with proceeds distributed based on length of employment. Please note that the General Manager will not be a recipient of the Holiday Fund proceeds. Residents can contribute any desired amount either by check made payable to Luma HOA or by charging their HOA account through an email to Taylor Jones at tjones@actionlife.com. All donations will remain confidential, and residents are also welcome to express their gratitude individually if they prefer.
