Reduced Staffing on Labor Day
Due to the long weekend, there will be reduced staffing on Monday, September 2nd.
BBQ Usage
Planning to use the BBQs this weekend? Please remember that the BBQ area is first come, first served. Having trouble getting the BBQ started? Here’s a brief explanation on how to light a gas barbecue with an electric start:
Open the Lid: Always start by opening the lid of the barbecue to prevent gas buildup, which can cause a dangerous flare-up when ignited. If there is a strong breeze try to block the wind to help expedite ignition.
Turn on the Gas Burner: Turn the control knob for the burner you wish to light to the “high” position.
Press the Ignition Button (small silver push button on the control panel): Press and hold the electric start button. You should hear a clicking sound as the ignition system creates a spark to ignite the gas.
Observe the Flame: Once the burner ignites, you should see a flame. If it doesn’t light immediately, wait a few seconds and try again.
Light Additional Burners: If you need more than one burner, turn on the other burners after the first one is lit. The flame will spread to the additional burners.
Close the Lid and Preheat: After lighting, close the lid and allow the barbecue to preheat to the desired cooking temperature before placing food on the grill.
Safety Tip: If the grill doesn’t ignite after several attempts, turn off the gas and wait a few minutes before trying again to allow any excess gas to dissipate.

Pool and Spa Reminders
Please be reminded that our pool and spa hours are Monday-Friday 5 AM-11 PM and weekends 6 AM-midnight. To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, no pets, loud music or noise, or glass containers are permitted in the pool area. Drinks must be in non-breakable containers. A complete list of rules is posted on the 4th floor for your convenience
A Taste of South Park 2024
The 5th Annual “A Taste of South Park” will be held on Saturday, September 28th, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at 11th and Grand, featuring food and drinks from 16 local restaurants, live music, raffles, and vendor displays.
