Recycling Room Etiquette
Please refrain from placing any trash or bulky items in the recycling bins. NASA will impose fees on the Association for any unapproved recycling items found in the bins. Refer to this link to determine what items are permitted for recycling. If you require assistance with disposing of trash or bulky items, please contact the front desk, and we will assist you with proper disposal.
Pool and Spa Deck Renovation Updates
The pool and spa are currently undergoing renovations, with an anticipated completion date of June 15th. As we enter the fourth week of renovations next week, we anticipate medium noise levels and dust exposure as the surfaces are being prepared for the new tile. Please be aware that the reopening date is subject to final inspection and approval by the LA Department of Public Health.
Painting Project Updates
The painters are finishing work on the 10th floor today and will begin work on the 9th floor on Monday April 22nd and then the 8th floor on Wednesday, April 24th. While they are on your floor, please be mindful of trip hazards and ensure your pets are secure. Also, door frames will be painted, so use caution to avoid bumping into wet paint and remember to check your shoes before entering your unit to avoid tracking paint. Attached is the current estimated schedule. Since this schedule is an estimate, the most up-to-date version will be displayed in the elevators, and signage will be posted on your floor a few days before the start date.
Terrace Furniture Restoration in Progress
The first half of the furniture will returned on Monday, and work on the second half will start on Tuesday with an estimated completion time of six weeks. Please be aware that there will be significantly fewer furniture pieces during this period.
4/20 Earth Day at Farmers Market
To celebrate the new Spring season and Earth Day at the Farmers Market, we’re presenting a free family fun Saturday on April 20th! Join us 12-1pm for live music from the Top Shelf Brass Band and stop by South Park’s booth to drop off your e-waste in honor of Earth Day. Click here for a list of recyclables accepted.
5/16 Save the Date for Luma’s Spring Social
Luma’s Social Committee presents a private tour of the Grammy Museum from 6-7 pm, followed by appetizers and drinks at Craft by Smoke and Fire at LA Live for you and your neighbors. Save the date for May 16th! As the date draws closer, the Social Committee will be sending out information on how to RSVP in a separate e-blast.
