Community Updates for 3/22/2024
Dear Luma Residents,
4/1 Pool and Spa Deck Renovation
The Board has contracted Downtown Pools to undertake a comprehensive renovation of the pool, spa, and deck area. Starting on Monday, April 1st, the project is expected to span 60 days, facilitating renovations and ensuring full compliance with health code regulations. This means the pool area will be closed for approximately 60 days starting April 1st. We will be providing more detailed information in a separate email next week.
Painting Project Updates
The painters began work on the 17th floor today and are scheduled to start on the 16th floor next week on Tuesday, March 26th. While they are on your floor, please be mindful of trip hazards and ensure your pets are secure. Also, door frames will be painted, so use caution to avoid bumping into wet paint when entering or leaving your home. Remember to check your shoes before entering your unit to avoid tracking paint. As this schedule is estimated, progress updates will be provided in the elevators and via email for the duration of the project.
Terrace Furniture Restoration in Progress
Dr. Teak Maintenance and Restoration has begun restoring the terrace furniture by temporarily removing half of the wood furniture from the 4th floor terrace. The project is estimated to last 8 weeks, with each half taking 4 weeks; Dr. Teak Maintenance and Restoration will commence the second half after completing the first. Please note there is significantly fewer furniture pieces during this time.
3/26 Sculpt and Sip
In celebration of Women’s History Month, SPNA is partnering with bellaTec fitness (women-owned, fitness for women) for an event on Tuesday, March 26, from 7 – 9 pm which includes a free fitness class and a social hour.
