Angle Stop Maintenance

The angle stop is the valve between a plumbing fixture like a faucet, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, toilet, and the water supply pipe. These fixtures need to be exercised regularly to ensure they are not frozen in the open position. If you have never exercised these valves in the past or cannot remember the last time you did, we advise extreme caution. Do not force these valves. If they do not turn with ease, and you apply excess force, you run the risk of breaking them resulting in a serious leak. In this case it would be best to have the valves replaced. Take a minute to review the PDF under the Tabs Documents/Maintenace for tips to keep your angle stops working properly.

CVS is now open in South Park, at 1212 Flower St. Hours are currently 8 AM – 9 PM weekdays, and 10 AM – 6 PM weekends.

March Film Festival NFMLA
