Phone and Internet Access
We are still experiencing problems with our internet and phones. AT&T provides direct service to the front desk, management office and engineering and they are trying to get service back up to us as soon as possible. AT&T is not able to provide us an exact time when these repairs will be completed, due to 600 feet of cable containing some 2200 pairs of wires stolen about a half a mile from Luma needs to be replaced.
We have purchased two temporary phones. If you need to contact the front desk, you can do so by calling the regular number (213) 742-0387 or a second new temporary number (213) 766-8871. Both are single line so if it’s busy, please try again. Thank you for your patience!
Local Noise Disturbances
Last weekend there was a gathering at the restaurant across from Luma, Byou, that generated a number of noise complaints because of the loud music and the crowd noise. If this or a similar situation arises, you can call the restaurant at (424) 283-1714. You can also call the police using their non-emergency number (877) ASK-LAPD, call Maria S. Padilla who is our South Park Liaison LAPD Officer at (213) 486-1172 office, (424) 264-1531 cell, or call the SPBID (866) 560-9346. You can also reach out to the front desk (213) 742-0387.

Secure 1st Floor Garage to Lobby Entrance Doors
We are looking for a volunteer who can assist us with modifying the doors that lead from the garage to the elevator vestibule on the 1st floor. We’d like to see if they can be locked which may require a change in the fire exit route. We would also like to change the doors to include glass panels. If you have experience with building fire exit routes or have expertise with this type of fire rated door, please contact Francis Langlois (213) 742-0387, we would love to talk with you.
Mask mandate: LA County Health Order Requires Face Coverings Indoors
Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has re-implemented a mandate requiring residents to wear masks while indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. The new mandate is in full effect. That means anyone entering Luma’s common areas must be wearing a properly fitted face covering. Thank you for your cooperation.
