Secure 1st Floor Garage to Lobby Entrance Doors
We are looking for a volunteer who can assist us with modifying the doors that lead from the garage to the elevator vestibule on the 1st floor. We’d like to see if they can be locked, which may require a change in the fire exit route. We would also like to change the doors to include glass panels. If you have experience with building fire exit routes or have expertise with this type of fire rated door please contact Francis Langlois (213) 742-0387 or flanglois@actionlife.com , we would love to talk with you.
Mobility Investment Plan Survey

Mosquitos
There has been a greater than normal number of mosquitos around the building and on the 4th floor terrace. We treat these areas regularly however you can also help by checking for standing water on your balconies or in potted plants or trays. You can also lessen your chances of being bit by wearing a repellent or long sleeves and pants.
Scheduled Water Shut Downs 9/22 and 9/23
We have two scheduled water shut downs this month so we can replace the PRV valves that service the building. The shut downs will affect the entire building and have been scheduled as follows:
Wednesday September 22nd at 9:00am to 5:00pm the COLD and HOT water will be down for replacement of the COLD water PRV side.
Thursday September 23rd at 9:00am to 5:00pm the HOT water ONLY will be off to replace the Hot water PRV side. There will be cold water available during this time.

There are three days left to submit a nomination for the 2022 Board of Directors elections. Elections began on Friday, August 20, with a 30-day nomination period. It is the right of all property owners within the South Park Business Improvement District (SPBID) to nominate either themselves or a designee to the SPBID Board of Directors. The nomination survey is now open, and closes at 5 PM on September 20. If you’d like to learn more about the nomination process, timeline, and selection criteria, visit southpark.la/board-elections.
Mask mandate: LA County Health Order Requires Face Coverings Indoors
Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has re-implemented a mandate requiring residents to wear masks while indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. The new mandate is in full effect. That means anyone entering Luma’s common areas must be wearing a properly fitted face covering regardless if you vaccinated or not. Thank you for your cooperation.
