MyFig Update
11th St.
- Curbs and gutters have been poured and a section of new sidewalk has been poured next to Arashi and Testa between Hope and Flower – that section should open to pedestrians tomorrow morning.
- Work will be continuing this weekend from 7am-3pm Saturday and Sunday. This work will involve foundation work between Grand and Flower and lighting work between Broadway and Grand.
- Schedules are changing very often as the crews attempt to complete all work by early July, so I’m going to begin giving updates every couple days to make sure changes in schedule/progress get out to everyone.
- I also want to give a reminder that the final element of the 11th St. work will involve grinding down the existing road surface, laying new pavement and restriping for the entire length of 11th from Figueroa to Broadway. To get this over and done with as quickly as possible, they are going to take several days and do it all at once (likely closing several blocks at a time). No dates have been set yet and I will let everyone know as soon as they are, but please be aware that it will likely be sometime during the first 2 weeks of July.

- Bollards are being installed today and the new bike lane will be activated on Saturday morning.
