If you use bell carts, front desk carts, ladders, or any item distributed by the front desk, please return the item promptly, so that others may use them. If for some reason you are unable to return the item, please call the front desk, and we will send a staff member up to retrieve the item.
Reproductive Rights March Planned Street Closures
There will be a march for Reproductive Rights in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday April 15th. The city has planned street closures. It starts at Perishing Square and ends at City Hall. Please plan accordingly and expect heavy traffic delays.
Moxy and AC Hotels now open in South Park
Marriott International’s dual-branded AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles and Moxy Downtown Los Angeles hotels have opened in a 37-story tower across the street from Crypto.com Arena. Totaling 727 rooms, the hotels are located on the corner of Figueroa Street and Pico Boulevard. For more information, click here.
Earth Day E-Waste Recycling
SPBID is partnering with LA Conservation Corps to host an e-waste recycling drop-off in honor of Earth Day on Saturday, April 22nd. Drop-off hours are from 9 AM – 3 PM, at SPBID’s office (1150-B S Hope St, at the back entrance off of 12th street). For a full list of accepted items, click here.
Earth Day Spring Garden Party
Earth Day Spring Garden Party, brought to you by the South Park Neighborhood Association, will be held on Saturday, April 22nd from 1-5 pm at Wishbone Park on Grand between 11th and 12th Streets. The event is free! Gather with neighbors to create a stronger community, learn from others about going green, indulge in food and drinks that are earth-friendly, shop from vendors selling plants, pots, and more, participate in a planting activity (one for kids and one for adults), recycle your e-waste sponsored by South Park BID, enter raffles, and much more.
