Community Updates for 3/29/24
Dear Luma Residents,
4/1 Pool and Spa Deck Renovation
The pool and spa at area will undergo a 60-day renovation starting April 1st, with anticipated completion by June 15th. During Weeks 1-2 of the renovation, heavy to medium noise levels and light dust exposure can be expected as the existing pool, and spa tiles are demolished. Please note that the reopening date is subject to final inspection and approval by the LA Department of Public Health
Painting Project Updates
The painters are finishing work on the 16th floor today and will begin work on the 15th floor on Monday April 1st and then the 14th floor on Wednesday, April 3rd. While they are on your floor, please be mindful of trip hazards and ensure your pets are secure. Also, door frames will be painted, so use caution to avoid bumping into wet paint when entering or leaving your home. Remember to check your shoes before entering your unit to avoid tracking paint. Attached is the current estimated schedule. As this schedule is estimated, progress updates will be provided in the elevators and via email for the duration of the project.
Terrace Furniture Restoration in Progress
Dr. Teak Maintenance and Restoration has begun restoring the terrace furniture by temporarily removing half of the wood furniture from the 4th floor terrace. The project is estimated to last 8 weeks, with each half taking 4 weeks; Dr. Teak Maintenance and Restoration will commence the second half after completing the first. Please note there is significantly fewer furniture pieces during this time.

5/16 Save the Date for Luma’s Spring Social
Luma’s Social Committee presents a private tour of the Grammy Museum from 6-7 pm, followed by appetizers and drinks at Craft by Smoke and Fire at LA Live for you and your neighbors. Save the date for May 16th! As the date draws closer, the Social Committee will be sending out information on how to RSVP in a separate e-blast.
