Landlord Resources

If you are a homeowner interested in renting your unit and have questions about your rights as a landlord, how to assess potential tenants, and your responsibilities in this role, please refer to this FAQ sheet. It provides valuable information to help you educate yourself on the process of renting.

Balconies

Please refrain from washing or rinsing anything off your balcony, as dripping or falling items are considered violations according to our governing documents. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in maintaining our community standards. If you need to clean your balcony, consider spot cleaning with a spray bottle of cleaner or using a damp cloth to wipe away any accidents.

Pets in the Common Area

Pets in common areas must be leashed and under the control of their owners. Owners are liable for any damages caused by their pets, including waste. If an accident occurs, please notify staff for cleanup. Samples of common areas include the lobby, parking garages, the terrace, hallways, and the planters on Hope St. Please refrain from allowing pets to relieve themselves in these areas; instead, direct them to Hope and 12th St, where you will find a red fire hydrant and a small patch of artificial grass provided by SPBID for pets to use and enjoy. Alveare Community Workshop

The City of Los Angeles is holding a community workshop on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 5:30pm at Tapestry LA to get feedback on a proposed 100% affordable 303-unit rental housing development called Alveare that includes affordable housing, traffic safety improvements, and a park at 1405 S. Broadway. The workshop will have Spanish and Korean translation available. If you are interested see the a flyer posted in the mailroom.
