| Dear Luma Residents, Public Hearing – 1130 S. Hope St., Hotel Project, Rescheduled No action was taken on this item at the hearing earlier this week due to lack of quorum. The new Hearing date is May, 10th. The agenda will be posted no later than 72 hours before the meeting at planning4la.org/hearings. Luma and Evo have filed an appeal to this project and the talking points can be found under the tab Local Construction on this website. We encourage all residents to attend and comment at this hearing. Window and Building Wash is in Process Window washing will resume Monday, 5/2 with the 16 stack balconies and windows facing 11th Street. The schedule is also posted in the mail room. Composting Bin in the Recycling Room There is a new bin in the recycling room designated for composting. The bin is green and located against the East wall. The bin is for: Coffee Grounds, Fruit, Bread, Fish, Meat, Vegetables, Dairy, and Tea Bags. The Board’s objective is to educate everyone on these common-sense ideas and to hopefully reduce assessments, overall. – Fines for disposing of the wrong items in the wrong bin: Bring all your recyclable and organic waste down to the 1st floor recycling room. Follow the posted (and attached) instructions in the 1st floor recycling room closely. The trash vendor can and will fine the Association for items that do not belong in the recycling bins, trash or organic waste bins. First Draft Taproom and Kitchen First Draft is introducing new specials including Wednesday beer specials ($3 Bud Light bottles or Michelob Ultra cans all day Wednesday), and Happy Hour specials from 4-6PM and 9PM to close (including $1 wings & boneless wings, burger specials, and more!) Storing Things in the Hallways Storing anything in the hallways is prohibited and could pose a safety hazard in the event of an emergency. Nothing should be left in the hallways overnight.
