Dog Policy Reminder
Posted By flanglois on August 20, 2021
Dear Luma Residents, We’ve received reports that dogs have been urinating on the first floor of the garage and their owners are not cleaning it up or notifying staff in a timely manner resulting in repeat offenses. If your dog isn’t able to make it to the outside area without urinating perhaps more frequent bathroom breaks are necessary. If a pet urinates, defecates, or in any other way soils any common area of the building, including the parking garage, the owner is responsible for cleaning it up. It is next to impossible to properly clean dog urine from the garage unless you have the proper tools which is why we ask that you please contact staff if your pet has an accident in the common area so we can clean it quickly and properly. Failure to clean up after your pet or notify staff as explained above, or using the garage or other common area for your pet’s bathroom breaks can result in a fine to the homeowner and other disciplinary action within the confines of the governing documents. Please also note that pets are not allowed in the planters surrounding Luma or on the 4th floor planters. You, your dogwalker and your pet are expected to behave in a manner that’s consistent with the rules of the community established for the welfare and safety of all. If you ever need assistance, please contact a front desk associate. If you have any information regarding these incidents, please let us know. If this notice does not apply to you, we ask that you please disregard it. Thank you for your cooperation. |
