Important 11th St. Notices:

  • The k-rail will be removed from 11th St. this Thursday 7/5.  Work should begin at 7am and take a couple of hours. Blocks will be closed intermittently as the k-rail is removed.
  • Another reminder that reconstruction of the road surface on 11th will begin on Saturday 7/7 and be completed on Tuesday 7/10.  Roughly 2 blocks of 11th st. will be fully closed each day from 7am-4pm for the first 3 days with work proceeding east to west beginning at Broadway (see attached notice for the specific days for each block).  The fourth day (Tues. 7/10) will involve pouring the new asphalt for all of 11th st. and will mean intermittent closures for portions of 11th as they move down the street. Please be aware that this work will be loud and dusty.  Please keep windows, doors and patios closed.  I know these days are going to be inconvenient for everyone, but we are pushing to get all the work wrapped up quickly rather than continue to drag things out by doing work piecemeal.
