ATTENTION

Water Control Valve Replacements

Wednesday 3/14/2018

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 9:00am there will be a partial shut down of the hot and cold water supply lines for floors 4-11.

Only floors 4-11 will be affected. Hot and cold water will be available. However, there may be fluctuations in hot water being available during this work as we replace pressure control valves. This work is required as we continue to meet the hot water distribution needs for floors 4-11.

After 9:00 am you may experience a lack of available hot water. Please take appropriate measures before 9:00 am as not to be affected by this work as much as possible.

We are anticipating water temperatures returning to normal by the evening. However, it could also take several days for the system to be fully balanced. Once the valves are replaced adjustments may be needed to the water supply system for several days. Any adjustments will be made to meet the required pressures and temperatures for both the residents and the integrity of the water supply system.

SPBID - Community Bike Ride Postponed to 3/17 Due to Rain

Dear Luma Residents,

The community bike ride on Saturday March 10th at 11am has been POSTPONED until March 17th due to rain in the forecast.

South Park Business Improvement District is having a “Meet Your Neighbors” event.
They are hosting a bike ride on Saturday, March 17th at 11am.
The route will be approximately one hour including stops and is appropriate for all levels.
Afterward, they plan to meet for brunch at PRANK.

Filming Notice

Dear Luma Residents,

Untitled Dan Gilroy Project
Dates and Hours:
Prep: March 12th Inside Unit – 7AM to 7PM
Shoot: March 13th Front of the Building (see notes) then Inside Unit – 7AM to 9PM
Shoot: March 14th – Inside Unit – 10AM to 12AM
Shoot: March 15th Garage Parking Level 3 then Inside Unit (see notes) – 3PM to 5AM
Strike: March 16 – Inside Unit – 7AM to 7PM
No Parking Signs:
Production will be using two spaces on Hope St. in front of Luma
Notes on Exterior and Garage Filming
-Exterior sidewalks in Front of Building — allowing for residents to enter/exit as needed
-Filming on 3rd Level Parking (space 3066L & 3067L)
-Staging in 3rd Level Parking (3034L-3042L & 3064L -3065L)
Production Vehicles will be parking and off-loading next to the building in the south alley throughout production. You may experience periodic delays or blockages in the alley during this time so please plan accordingly.

Filming Notice

Dear Luma Residents,

Conspiriacion Peliculas is planning to film scenes of Apollo at 1200 S Hope St.

Proposed dates:
Sunday, March 11, 2018

Hours:
6:00am – 3:00am (The next day)

Description of scenes and parking:
Interior dialogue scenes. Filming a stationary picture car with talent inside of car on the 4th floor. Prepping on Saturday 3/10/18 from 6am – 10pm. Posting of “NO PARKING” signs on 3/10/18 & 3/11/18 from 6am – 3am on South side of 12th St. from Hope St. going East for 40′ & East side of Hope St. from 12th St. going South for 40′ & on 3/11/18 from 6am – 3am on East side of Hope St. from 12th going North for 300′ & South side of 12th from Grand going East for 300′.

Camera on sticks. Drive by. Drive ups & away. Intermittent traffic control – 2 minutes standard. Exterior dialogue. Exterior establishing shots. Exterior models against scenery. Car pulls up to curb. Talent walk and talk on the sidewalk, dolly track on sidewalk, camera and equipment in curb lane. Generator. Picture vehicle.

Fire Life Safety Training and Fire Drill - Feb. 28th

Dear Luma Residents,

As required by the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Regulations, high-rise residents are to receive two Fire/Life Safety Training sessions and participate in at least one fire drill per calendar year.

FIRE DRILL WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH AT 3:00PM.
There will be alarms, announcements and mandatory evacuations. ALL RESIDENTS who are on-site at this time are required to participate by exiting thru the stairwells and signing in with Luma staff at Starbucks on the corner of Hope St. and Grand Ave.

RESIDENT FIRE/LIFE SAFETY TRAINING WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH AT 7:00PM ON THE 4th FLOOR TERRACE. If you are new to the building or never attended a training session we strongly recommend you make time for this one. If you are leasing your unit, please notify your tenant(s) to attend this important Fire/Life Safety Training.
