Dear Luma Residents,

Window and Building Wash Coming April

We’ll begin the window and building wash next month. Keep your eyes open for the schedule, it will also be posted in the mailroom.

Pest Control

If you discover bugs inside your home, you are under obligation to call a properly licensed pest control company of your choice and cost, to immediately treat the issue. On this website under the Document tab you’ll find Luma’s vendor list which includes two extermination companies. Please report any issues to management so we can help you resolve it and encourage your neighbors to do the same.

LA County Public Health Mask Advisory – Key Points

3-12-22: Masks are still required in some settings and strongly recommended in others – see the summary here and details in the Health Officer Order.

As the county continues to experience reduced COVID-19 spread, it is appropriate to consider fewer required safety measures, noting that vulnerable individuals should continue to layer in all protections possible. Fully vaccinated individuals can refrain from wearing masks in various indoor locations however it is recommended that residents and guests wear masks in common area spaces as a precautionary measure even if vaccinated.  We also strongly urge anyone who feels sick or has symptoms to please try to stay at home. If you must go out, please either try not to enter the elevator with other residents, or warn others out of courtesy. Stay safe!

Ways to Reduce Your Assessments

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be including this segment on ways you can reduce your assessments by making some small changes in your ‘normal’ routine. The Board’s objective is to educate everyone on these common-sense ideas and to hopefully reduce assessments, overall.

-Spills: Like pet stains spills of all sorts of liquids can take up a cleaning team’s time and cleaning materials. By simply taking your time, being careful and mindful as you move about the building will go a long way in saving the community this unnecessary cost.
