Life Safety Equipment Re-test on 6/10/21

Posted By on June 4, 2021

Next Thursday 6/10/2021 at 7:30 am there will be a re-testing of the following life safety emergency systems for the LUMA building. There will be no alarms or noise before 9:00 am.

*Proper closing of elevator lobby fire doors.

*Elevator emergency power transfer switch.

*Testing of the fire alarm speakers on floors 15-Roof.

*Testing of 15th floor emergency lighting.

*At 11:30 am normal power will be shut down for approximately 45 minutes. The building will be running on emergency power. There is no emergency power available for any of the units.

*Elevators will be tested and running on emergency power at 11:30 am. Try to avoid the use of the elevators while the building is on emergency power.

*There will be no air conditioning available for the units during the power shut down.

*Please shut down all electronics before this shut down.

*There will be no water available during this time. Do not attempt to use any water during the outage. Using water will cause air to enter into the plumbing system causing water balancing issues.

*Floors 1-2 will continue to have water available.

Once power has been restored you can bring all electronics back on and begin using the water 20 minutes after. Thank you,
