Terrace, Pool and Spa Hours and Rules -Pool and Spa opens at 5 a.m. Monday thru Friday, and 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.   Pool and Spa closes at 11 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.   Please keep in mind that many of your neighbor’s homes are immediately adjacent to this space therefore you are required to keep all noise to reasonable levels especially during the early morning and late evening hours.  Please see the attachment for a complete listing of all the Terrace, Pool and Spa Rules.

5/13: Central Safety Summit – The Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney is hosting a Central Safety Summit on the Impact of Street Racing in DTLA. Filming Notice for 5/2/21 & 5/9/21 – Square Planet Media will be filming scenes for a commercial titled “Toyota”.

  • Locations – 11th St., Grand Ave. to Flower St.
  • Filming date – Sunday May 9th.
  • Hours of operation are 7am to 10pm. 
  • Activities include: Camera on sidewalk and on sticks. Handheld equipment. Camera in car, car-to car, drive by, drive ups and away. Intermittent traffic control. Driving shots, driving with flow of traffic. Exterior establishment shots with models against scenery.
  • There may be delays entering or exiting the 11th St. gates.
  • Posted “No Parking” 5/2 & 5/9, 7am-10pm: South side of 11th St. from Grand Ave. to Flower St.

Architectural Review Committee Member(s) Wanted -We are seeking a candidate(s) to serve on Luma’s Architectural Review Committee (ARC).   Currently we are seeking from 1 to 3 applications to remodel or refresh homes per month.  The requests range from painting and blinds to total remodels.  Interested parties who can read plans or have any construction or architectural experience are welcome.  Please contact Lori Shilling lshilling@actionlife.com or Francis Langlois flanglois@actionlife.com for more information.

EV Charging Installation Update – The EverCharge team will be onsite next week Monday through Friday working on the basement level, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors starting at 9AM each day.  They’ll be installing conduit on all of those floors in addition to core drilling.  For yours and their safety, please follow all instructions from the EverCharge team.

Mask Wearing in the Common Areas -It is important that every resident and guest of LUMA wear a proper face covering and adhere to social distancing rules when in the common areas, including the gym, hallways, and elevators in the building. Please help to protect everyone’s health and safety by following these rules.If you choose not to wear a proper face covering, please do not access the common areas or elevators.  Non-compliance may result in a hearing, fines, or other disciplinary action within the confines of the governing documents. So be a good neighbor and please wear a mask!  If you see someone in the common area not wearing a mask, please report it to staff.
