Sounds of South Park – Every Fridays

South Park BID is continuing to host outdoor performances at South Park Commons on Fridays between 6PM to 8PM. Please visit southpark.la/music to see upcoming performance information or to sign up to perform!

Protective Fence to be Installed as a Precautionary Measure on Tuesday 4/20

On Monday jury deliberations are set to begin on the Derek Chauvin trial.  As a pre-emptive measure in the event there is any civil unrest as a result of the outcome of the trial, we will be installing 8ft chain link fencing around the perimeter of the building.  The fence will be set back a few feet from the face of the building and it’s constructed to allow entry to businesses while in place. 

Proposed Hotel Project – DLANC Voting Results

The voting results of the Board meeting held on April 13th were five in favor, three abstentions and seven against providing a letter of support to the City for the proposed hotel.  Thank you to everyone that participated!  

Emergency Procedures Training – Reminder

This semi-annual training will be conducted on April 22nd at 7:00 PM on the 4th floor terrace, weather permitting.  If you’ve never attended a training session, or simply need a refresher course, please make the time to attend this important training.  Also, please review the attachment for important emergency procedure information.

EV Charging installation Update

Next week, the electricians will be installing conduit on the Basement level, 2nd and 3rd floors. 

Drilling and the use of roto hammers will begin after 9am and end each day at 4pm.  Please use extreme caution while in the vicinity of the electricians and/or laborers.

Mask Wearing in the Common Areas – Reminder

It is important that every resident and guest of LUMA wear a proper face covering and adhere to social distancing rules when in the common areas, including the gym, hallways, and elevators in the building. Please help to protect everyone’s health and safety by following these rules.If you choose not to wear a proper face covering, please do not access the common areas or elevators.  Non-compliance may result in a hearing, fines, or other disciplinary action within the confines of the governing documents. So be a good neighbor and please wear a mask!  If you see someone in the common area not wearing a mask, please report it to staff.
