Hotel Project – DLANC Meeting on April 13th at 6:30 PM (virtual)
Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council (DLANC) will be conducting a Board meeting where the proposed hotel project will be discussed. At a previous meeting, the DLANC Planning and Land Use committee voted in favor of the hotel project and they plan on making a recommendation to the DLANC Board to do the same at this meeting. Please see the attached document for talking points. The boards of all three communities are strongly opposed to this project and recommends everyone attend this meeting to speak out against it.

Recently, Management received revised orders from the Los Angeles County Department of Health regarding occupancy levels for indoor gyms. We have been monitoring the usage of the fitness center and now believe it is possible to increase the number of sessions a resident is able to schedule from three to four. Management will continue to monitor fitness center usage and make adjustments to ensure this amenity is reasonably available for all residents to use. We appreciate your cooperation during this transitional time.
EV Charging Update
Work will be taking place on the basement level, 1st floor and 2nd floor of the garage. Drilling and the use of roto hammers will be heard throughout the day between the hours of 9am-4pm on those floors. Please use extreme caution while in the vicinity of the electricians and/or laborers.
Mask Wearing Reminder
It is important that every resident and guest of LUMA wear a proper face covering and adhere to social distancing rules when in the common areas, hallways, and elevators in the building. Please help to protect everyone’s health and safety by following these rules. If you choose not to wear a proper face covering, please do not access the common areas or elevators. Non-compliance may result in a hearing, fines, or other disciplinary action within the confines of the governing documents. So be a good neighbor and please wear a mask! If you see someone in the common area not wearing a mask, please report it to staff.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
