Building Wide Water Shut Down for April 6th at 9:00PM
Posted By flanglois on March 26, 2021
Attention! On Tuesday April, 6, 2021 at 9:00am there will be a complete water shut down of the building for approximately 6-8 hours. There will be no hot or cold water available. This shut down is required so critical operational water control valves can be replaced. During this shut down please do not attempt to use the water in your unit. This includes the laundry, dishwasher, kitchen faucet, refrigerator ice maker / water, bathroom faucets, showers, bathtubs and toilets. Using your water will introduce air into the water supply lines causing balancing problems in the entire water supply system once the water is restored and could take several days for the system to balance. Once the water has been restored there will be some air in the pipes and when opening the water in your units you may get a mixture of air and water spraying out of your fixtures, this is normal. Please open your fixtures slowly and let the air bleed out. You may experience small air bubbles in your water that will appear to make the water look milky. These bubbles will quickly disappear from whatever container, pan or glass you fill with water and eventually will be removed from the system with normal usage. This maintenance will have no negative impact to your plumbing fixtures. There will be a follow up email once the water has been restored. It will take time for the hot water to return to normal temperatures. The building engineer will be onsite until temperatures have returned to normal. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we continue to improve our community. |
