City elections matter! Update your registration and vote in DTLA. Register or update your information online by February 18 to vote in the March 3 Primary Election.  Additional information attached provided by the SPBID.

How to Register or check to see if you’re Registered – www.lavote.net

·   The last day to register for the March 3 election is February 18, 2020. Note – There is a way to register on Election Day – this is not recommended because of the effort and time it will take to register, but if you need more information, you can go to www.lavote.net.  

·   Residents can register at www.lavote.net and click on the box “Register to Vote,” and click “Register Now.”

·   If you want to check to see if you are registered, again go to www.lavote.net and click on the box “Register to Vote,” and then click “Check if You’re Registered.”

·   Important – if you are registered but not at your current address, please re-register and update your address at www.lavote.net and click on the box “Register to Vote,” and proceed with the new information.

Voting Centers are new for the March 3, election. 

·  Previous polling places have been replaced with Voting Centers.

·  Registered voters can vote at ANY Voting Center. To find a Voting Center – go to  www.lavote.net and click on “Find Your Voting Center.” Use your residential address or an office address or another address, the closest 3 voting centers will be listed. Remember you can vote at ANY Voting Center.

·  Voting has been extended for 11 days for in-person voting. The voting period begins February 22, and continues through 8 pm on Election Day March 3.

·  Also, voters can change their preference to receive a mail ballot. The deadline is February 25, and the link is –https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/vote-by-mail/pdf/vote-by-mail-application.pdf
