Noisy Neighbor

Posted By on December 29, 2017

Dear Residents,

After receiving feedback from the e-blast sent out a couple of days ago titled ‘Noisy Neighbors’ we would like to clarify that it was not our intention to encourage residents to break the rules of Luma’s Noise and Nuisance policy but rather to encourage open communication among neighbors. Please see the section in the attached document titled ‘Reporting Violations’ for more information. Noise is an issue that is hard to quantify from the perspective of your neighbors, unless you are on the other side of the wall, ceiling or floor to hear. By keeping dialogue open between neighbors, in an atmosphere of cooperation, a quality community is built and maintained. This has, and will always be, our collective goal. Enjoy life to its fullest but not at the expense of your neighbors.

If you have a complaint regarding noise, we ask that you contact the front desk staff so we can locate the origin, mitigate and document the occurrence. The information is used to enforce the rules pursuant to the Association’s enforcement policy. Another option is to simply call the police.

Please see the attached document ‘Enforcement of the CC&R’s, Rules and Regulations’ for additional information. This information can also be found on pages 13 – 15 of Luma’s Rules and Regulations.

Thank you for your cooperation and have a wonderful holiday.
