Entry Gate Damaged – Repair Notice and Closure

Attention Luma Residents,

11th St. entry gate

The entry gate located off of 11th street suffered damage on Tuesday evening October 4, 2016 at 6:40 pm when it was hit by a car.

We have been able to get the gate to operate on a temporary basis until the new parts arrive. However, as of now we do not have an estimated time when the replacement parts will arrive.

To ensure that the gate does not suffer any more damage we will be allowing vehicles to enter during the morning and evening rush hours by keeping the gate open and having a security office monitor the area during this these times. The hours that vehicles will be allowed to enter through the 11th st. gate will be 7:00am – 10:00am and 4:00pm – 7:00pm. All hours outside these times vehicles will be required to enter through the south gate at the alley.

All those who park on the 1st floor level of the LUMA please use extreme caution when coming in from the south alley gate when the 11th st. gate is down due to the fact that you will be going in the opposite direction that traffic normally flows.

We will keep you updated on the status of the repairs and appreciate your understanding.
